Ian Coghlan
Ian Coghlan is a Project Engineer at the Water Research Laboratory. Ian has a Diploma of Engineering Practice, a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering and is currently completing a Master of Engineering Science degree in Coastal Engineering and Management.
Ian has been with WRL since 2005 and been involved with several large studies during this time (see CV for full details). His primary fields of interest are related to coastal processes, wave dynamics, global wave models, coastal structures and related field studies and physical and numerical models.
While Ian’s work is particularly focused on coastal environments, his practical experience crosses most related environments including estuarine environments, flood modelling and hydraulic modelling.
