Gabriel Rau
Gabriel Rau is a Research Associate and PhD Student at the Water Research Laboratory. He has been with the WRL since 2008. His research work focuses on heat propagation in porous media under different flow conditions. The knowledge will contribute to the development of a method and tool which can be used to quantify surface water groundwater interactions. Moreover, the method will improve water balance calculations thus enhance sustainability.
As part of the Connected Waters Initiative team he has been involved in hydrogeological investigations of groundwater and surface water connectivity.
