Dr Beatrice Giambastiani
Beatrice Giambastiani is a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Sciences, UNSW, and she has been with WRL since January 2009.
Beatrice has professional experience in hydrogeology, groundwater and geological modelling, environmental monitoring, field investigations and integrated coastal management. She has 5 years of professional experience in GIS mapping and data analysis. Beatrice holds a PhD in Environmental Sciences regarding numerical modelling of saltwater intrusion in coastal aquifers.
As part of the Connected Water Initiative team she has been responsible for the database and 3D geological model of the Namoi area (Maules Creek), and she is currently responsible for the 3D groundwater modelling of the same area.
