Andrew McCallum
Andrew McCallum is a Research Associate and PhD Student at the Water Research Laboratory. Andrew has a BE (Hons) in Civil Engineering, a BE in Environmental Engineering and is completing a MEngSci in Geotechnical Engineering. Andrew has been with WRL since mid-2007 and has worked as part of the Connected Waters Initiative team which is researching the connectivity between surface water and groundwater.
His PhD research, under the supervision of Professor Ian Acworth, is considering various aspects of aquifer recharge in the Maules Creek Catchment, NSW. Prior to working at WRL, Andrew worked for an engineering consultancy on a range of civil and environmental engineering projects in NSW and QLD, predominantly those related to civil infrastructure, mines, landfills and contaminated sites.
