RESOURCES
The activities at WRL are undertaken by a team of highly experienced professional and academic staff comprising engineers, scientists, trades and sub-professionals who make use of physical hydraulic models, computer analysis, hydrodynamic modelling and field data collection as detailed below.

Personnel

Hydraulic Laboratories
The largest and most comprehensive in Australia

Computing Facilities
Consists of a local network of approximately 40 PCs and 10 Unix Work stations

Groundwater Laboratory
Provides chemical analysis for water
engineering projects and groundwater research

 Workshop
Fully equipped workshop which includes wood, metal, and plastics trades, as well as an electronics workshop

Water Reference Library
Contains over 21 000 items, mainly in the fields of fluid mechanics, hydraulics, and coastal engineering
